Secret Asset likely to run first race at Thirsk

Secret Asset, owned by Kinsale Racing is likely to run his first race of 2009 up at Thirsk on the 16th May, ground permitting. The grey gelding by Clodovil requires good to firm ground and is working very well up the gallops at Mark Brisbourne's.

 

Zennerman returns to training

Zennerman, owned by Shropshire Wolves returned to training in the middle of April following his leg injury whilst in training, good luck to all connections!

Petrocelli runs a great race at Leicester for owner Raymond Tooth

Petrocelli, trained by Alan McCabe, owned by Raymond Tooth and bred and raised at Kinsale Stud ran a fantastic first race at Leicester yesterday, beaten by just over a length. The son of Sarcita is by Piccolo and is one to watch for the season.

Yes Dear foals a chestnut filly by Pastoral Pursuits

Born on Wednesday evening at 10pm Yes Dear foaled a lovely filly by Pastoral Pursuits. Pastoral Pursuits, by Bahamian Bounty, won the Group 1 July Cup at Newmarket and his first two year olds will run in 2009. He was the sire of the top lot at the Doncaster Breeze-up sales last week, bought by Richard Hannon for 190,000gns.
