Congratulations to owner Raymond Tooth who won the Coronation Stakes yesterday with his 3 year old filly Indian Ink winning impressively by six lengths to take the first prize of £141,950 at the great price of 8-1.

Indian Ink, winner of the Cheveley Park stakes (Group 1) at Newmarket last year will run in the Coronation Cup at Royal Ascot this week. Owned by Raymond Tooth and trained by Richard Hannon, the three year old Indian Ridge filly has already won £280,000 in prize money and was unlucky in running to finish 5th in the 1000 guineas at Newmarket this year.

Secret Asset lead from start to finish in the EBF Maiden Stakes over 5 furlongs at Haydock winning by 1 1/4 lengths under Richard Mullen! Purchased by Kinsale Racing, the grey 2 year old bought for just £5000 beat the Godolphin horse Wolgan Valley bought for $1,45 million and the third and fourth horses costing £130,000 and £150,000 respectively! Following a one, two, three for the trainer Mark Brisbourne at Chester three days after Haydock Brisbourne was quoted as saying "It started with Secret Asset (at Haydock) and l think he is the quickest two-year-old we've ever had".
