We are within 30 minutes of Mickley Stud, Bearstone Stud, Wood Farm Stud, and just 10 minutes from Shade Oak Stud which provides ease for walking in mares to the stallions Needwood Blade, Multiplex, Indesatchel, Firebreak, Black Sam Bellamy, Lucarno, Alflora, Overbury, Central Park and many more. We are also within 2 hours of Holyhead for mares going to Ireland.

With the horses out of training yard and facilities at Kinsale Stud we act as an overflow yard to Mark Brisbourne Racing and work closely with them in ensuring that the horses out of training let themselves down, rest and recuperate.


We also provide racehorse ownership management through our syndicates Kinsale Racing and Kinsale Racing 2. Kinsale Racing is fortunate to own the winning sprinter Secret Asset currently in training with Mark Brisbourne and Kinsale Racing 2 owns half of an Avonbridge 2 year old filly which is also in training with Mark Brisbourne. We are extremely pleased to be associated with www.shropshirewolves.co.uk which is managed by Mr John Babb and has several very successful horses in training including The Last Bottle and New Star.

 

We undertake sales preparation for both residential and outside clients for all the sales.

Both Richard and Rachael have been involved in sales preparation for other studs for many years including Cheveley Park Stud, Goldford Stud and Raymond Tooth Racing.

A horse walker is used in the sales fitness preparation in conjuction with many hours of grooming, walking and standing the horses. With many contacts within the industry it is made sure that as many potential buyers look at the horses as possible. All of the horses are fed on Conollys Red Mills feed and monitored regularly by Red Mills consultant Victoria Jones to ensure a high quality of bone growth and cover, particularly in youngstock.
